Dear all,

The KLU ASME Student Section has been organizing different THEMES with an aim to enhance the competency among the students and their self learning skills. Activities related to one broad area are bundled as a THEME and spread over a span of 3 or 4 weeks. Every theme also includes hands on practice sessions wherein the participants are encouraged and guided in fabrication a few models related to the theme.

We are happy to bring to your notice that we successfully organized the themes, automobile, energy, mechatronics and robotics. From the exotic response received from the student community, we are elated and very happy to announce the launch of our next theme, “THEME AERO”.

We welcome you all for inaugural of Theme Aero on 1^st march 2012.

PARTICIPATION IN SPDC 2012

A Team of seven students represented our student section in SPDC 2012 held at IIT-Roorkee on 4th - 5th of Feb 2012.

• Mr.P.Prem Chand presented a paper on 'Nature inspired design of centrifugal pump impeller blade and numerical simulation of flow of water through the pump using CFD technique'.
 

 
• Ms.M.Satya Sri presented a paper on 'CFD analysis of 3D aerofoil with Tubercles 

 

• Mr.P.Ravi Teja presented a poster on 'Vortex Generators and their Engineering applications'

These Students also participated in student leadership seminar.

In the same team, a group of four students represented our student section in Student Design Competition of SPDC 2012.
